I cannot understand why Republicans do not leave their Party?

Many have, such as the few "Never Trumpers" that run the Lincoln Project.

But far too many have stuck with the demented psycho in the White House.

It doesn't mean that they would have to become Democrats - they could register as "Independents" in protest. But they stick around like sadists, just waiting for the punishment.

They garner little respect for staying in a Party so void of anything honorable.

abortion? worst crime ever. High taxes, "socialism," homosexuality, etc etc.

Yeah the leader sucks but the issues remain the same and the team they play for is wearing the same jerseys.

some just buy into abortion and nothing else matters.

Some are petrified of socialism and nothing else matters.

It's a mix. Just waving our hands and calling them evil idiots doesn't really do much.

Not that I think we have to spend much time trying to win them over either. Focus on our side and the third of adults who never get out to vote at all. Although the reality is, the only way to punch through to the latter is to nominate a hyper popular candidate, like Obama. But those come around once a generation or so.

They agree with it all, they just want the racism and other stuff to be couched in slightly more polite language.

stand up against trumpism. WTF is that about? They want all of her connections to the youth of America, especially the diversity of her followers ... a group of old white, left over repubs could never get on their own. Oh, how they try so hard to be woke, hip and relevant ... did they really do that much?

Unless the majority of the repub party denounce trumpism, we should have not one GD thing to do with helping LP out with cleaning up their effing party of seditious traitors who want to reconstitute the effing disgusting repub party the way it was. I enjoyed some of your ads and
re-posted them, now go away. Unless you can change your repub party .... love it or effing leave it and denounce it. Join us liberals in a full endorsement, nothing less will be sufficient. We know, you got scared by your Frankenstein monster, so did we, but we took him out, not you.

Remember all the Southern “Democrats” in the House who switched parties during the “Contract on America”. They just like being in power and don’t care how they get there.
