Meanwhile over in MAGA crazy land....

All 50 states certified and voted, and there's people who still don't believe that Biden won the election. This is getting truly beyond stupid. This is like the real life equivalent of Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown at this point.

Consider, if they keep doing this (just bitchin') and Joe and Co. can go get some solid policy and real problem fixing work done (and I know that is a big IF with the Senate et. al.) people will start to come around. Not all of them for sure, but until there is momentum in a positive direction, it is too easy for people to gyrate on conspiracies and Trumpian "logic". NPR just shared research into why about 80 million eligible Americans didn't vote even though the choices were so clear and so much at stake. Basically, they are disengaged and don't think partaking in the political process will do much for them. The endless lack of meaningful progress on America's issues is killing the spirit of many people. Here's hoping for some positive change!

My town has been host to more than a few "Stop The Steal" rallies and I have my fair share of MAGA neighbors.

This is like the real life equivalent of Lucy taking the football and going home while Charlie Brown keeps trying to kick the imaginary football then falling on his butt.

The Trump dead-enders are disturbed. They're also un-American.

I'll offer them the same advice they smugly gave us:

GET OVER IT!

...but, rather, to the groups (and there are several) of ultratraditional Catholics who claim the entire post-Vatican II Roman Church is heretical and that, thus, they are the only "true" Catholic Church and have elected the "real" Pope from among themselves. Here is but one example. See any similarities?
