Franklin Graham: Biden won -- but at least Trump let us say 'Merry Christmas' again

In a post to his Facebook page this Monday, evangelical activist and evangelist Franklin Graham seemingly acknowledged Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election, but expressed thanks (to God) that President Trump pushed forward the Christian agenda and nominated conservative judges to the Supreme Court.

He also took the opportunity to suggest to his followers that the War on Christmas will likely be waged once again during Biden’s tenure (even though the war exists in their own heads).

“I’m grateful for a president and a vice president who recognized the importance of prayer and were not ashamed of the name of Jesus Christ,” Franklin wrote. “I’m thankful that the president stood against the secularists who wanted to take Christ out of Christmas and that he brought back the greeting ‘Merry Christmas!'”

RWers, insane evangelists so called "Christians" should STFU.

republicans do not have a cap on "Merry Christmas" nor Christianity, and to be honest, I don't think they truly care nor understand the true meaning of such. If they did, we would not be hearing this constant bullshit.

4. It's truly mind boggling that these idiots have spent their entire lives saying "Merry Christmas"

- never missed a time not saying it. Yet, suddenly, Trump brought it back.

And these idiots have convinced themselves that they were deprived from saying it before Trump.

Playdoh for brains. One moment it's a pancake, the next an ashtray. And it was always an ashtray - now. Until the next shape comes along.

Making Christmas ground zero of their culture war is pathetic and completely distorts its meaning, which is all about reconciliation, “peace on earth, good will to men,” as the Angels said. These self-righteous people don’t have the first concept of what Christianity is about, heck, most of the time it seems like they’re working for the other guy!

I’ve said it before and I’m sure I’ll say it again—dear Paul Ryan, you cannot have as your two guiding lights the Bible and the Fountainhead, the philosophy presented in those two books are diametrically opposed to one another.

that wasn't "letting" Graham say "Merry Christmas"? I still haven't encountered anyone who has prevented me from saying it. Still a stunningly stupid and non-existent issue.

Meanwhile, talking about Trump and Jesus in the same sentence is disgusting. Anyone who has read the New Testament knows what Jesus thought of men like Trump and Franklin Graham.

Merry Christmas you vile hypocrite!
