And that's why Kamala Harris wears Chucks or reasonable heels when travelling. Stilettos are for fancy dress or parties, not business or regular wear (unless, of course, you're a model or porn star...).

Most women in the 50's through 80's who wore heels professionally or otherwise regularly tended to keep them between 2 and 3 inches in height. And they were typically standard pump heels that gave support and wouldn't break when one had to hurry about and still look "professional".

That's not to say that she also isn't athletically out of shape. Surgery and "diet" can give the appearance of wealthy health without the hard work.
