5. The surprising thing is that it names the monkey-wrencher

Usually the identities of folks like Toomey are protected by some misguided sense of institutional loyalty. My reading of this is that Toomey wants the only available cure for deficit reduction to be cutting Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, and SSD.

I called Portman and told him I blame him and all the GOP is no agreement is reached. Everyone should do that.
