.
There's fraud alright, but not election fraud. Someone stole from their own re-election war chest.
Business Insider reported:
President Donald Trumps most powerful advisor, Jared Kushner, approved the creation of a campaign shell company that secretly paid the presidents family members and spent almost half of the campaigns $1.26 billion war chest, a person familiar with the operation told Insider.
The shell company incorporated as American Made Media Consultants Corp. and American Made Media Consultants LLC allowed Trumps campaign to skirt federally mandated disclosures. The tactic could attract scrutiny from federal election regulators.
The Trump family appears to have violated campaign finance laws by creating a shell company, and then paying themselves funds that were not disclosed and odds are properly documented. The problem could much deeper than campaign finance violations.
There is the possibility of potential money laundering and conspiracy charges if investigators find that the Trump family wasnt just trying to skirt campaign finance laws, but were engaging in even more serious criminal activity.
Trump was so confident that he would beat Joe Biden that he spent half of the money that his campaign raised paying himself and his family. If Trump and Kushner thought that what they were doing was above board, they would not have created a shell company to hide their activities.

Something has to be done with these shell companies, because more and more they're just used for money laundering and other sketchy tax-dodging or media-grabbing actions.
Update: As an additional comment. If he just had allocated a few million to those four battle ground states, he might have won them, given how close they were. But, his greed got in the way. He is his worst enemy and struggles daily with the conflicts of his stupidity and how much of a failure he is. His family knows and knew he was a moron and he affirms it by the minute.

(9,128 posts)think he hasn't continued that throughout his presidency, and this is only the tip of an iceberg of cash that Trump has grifted from his supporters, as well as from taxpayers, corporate contributors and foreign powers.

(15,001 posts)he stole half of the money instead of spending it on the campaign!"*
*yeah, I know it is not strictly true or provable, but in this scenario you're talking to MAGAt, evidence based critical thinking is not their strong suit.

(79,302 posts)In one passage from "Fear: Trump in the White House," Woodward described a scene in which then-candidate Trump summoned Christie to Trump Tower along with campaign CEO Steve Bannon. Trump was angry to learn that Christie, whom he made head of his transition team in May 2016, was raising money for the teams operations.
"Where the (expletive) is the money?" Trump asked Christie, according to Woodward. "I need money for my campaign. Im putting money in my campaign and youre (expletive) stealing from me."
Christie explained the money was necessary for the transition team to do its job of preparing Trump to smoothly take over the executive branch of the government should he defeat his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.
Trump responded that one reason 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney failed to defeat President Barack Obama was because he spent too much time on his transition and not enough time campaigning, Woodward writes.
"Thats why he lost," Trump said.

(4,623 posts)Sounds *exactly* like money laundering and conspiracy to me. Plus fraud.
I hope Jared, Ivanka, Tweedle Dumb, and Tweedle Dumber go down, hard, for this. Sadly, I dont think trump will suffer any consequences for anything hes done, other than maybe a slap on the wrist from NY.
