access to medical records? A doctor's note? How much privacy will we lose in this process? What about people who are not in the health car system? Now that the vaccine is out there, I have a lot of questions about how the vaccination process is going to be administered.

(146,288 posts)Right now, the focus is on vaccinating those at most risk - health care workers and residents of congregate living facilities.
Keep you eyes on announcements about future vaccination categories.
I got an email from my healthcare provider group. They are going to email patients when they qualify for the vaccine, which we'll be able to get at our nearest clinic. And yes, that group has all of my medical records, so they'll know when to notify me.
that is a good thing, you see.
You will hear about vaccination categories on your local TV news and in local newspapers, as well. State and local jurisdictions will also be putting announcements on their websites.
