Model Stella Tennant dies aged 50

The model Stella Tennant has died, five days after her 50th birthday on 17 December. According to police, there were no suspicious circumstances around her death.

Her family said in a statement: “It is with great sadness we announce the sudden death of Stella Tennant on 22 December 2020.

“Stella was a wonderful woman and an inspiration to us all. She will be greatly missed.

“Her family ask for their privacy to be respected. Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.” [more...]

Cause of death has not been revealed yet, but it has just been said that it was sudden and that foul play was not suspected. Some sources are implying that she might have taken her own life, but nothing has been confirmed yet. It's very sad. She had just turned 50 and had recently separated from her husband of 21 years.

They had four children ranging in ages from 15 - 22. She wasn't the typical shallow model-type, society girl, even though she was from an aristocratic family and was extremely successful at the height of her career. She and her family lived on a farm on the Scottish border and she was a big environmentalist and said she only bought maybe about 5 outfits/pieces of clothing per year as she was against waste and overconsumption and she and her family try to live as unmaterialistically as possible.
