Mainly about how I'm going to celebrate. They want me to have some turkey and fixings. Many of them are going to have it delivered to them from the VA. They want to share some with me.
I keep telling them I got my Chinese tonight and my tamales for tomorrow. It's my way of celebrating, I'm fine.
But they are grumbling. I don't think I'm winning.

(14,120 posts)They are always asking how I'm doing when I'm setting outside. Always asking if I've eaten. Even offering to pick me up stuff from the store. Heck, they keep bringing me a sode or a coffee.
I keep telling them I am fine and I can get stuff when I need it, but they don't seem to want to listen.

It is nice to have someone watching my six. In my case a whole bunch watching.
