.

While tedious, they'll be able to backtrack the vehicle to where it approximately left.

If they got good images of the license plate, they will be able to process that information faster.

It looks like it's in decent shape, so there are probably camper & DMV records somewhere.

The more accurate, the better.

Yes, the police, I'm sure, have already determined the precise model/make - but the more widely-publicized, the better.

I'd almost bet that Cheeto uses this (convenient?) incident to try to impose Martial Law.

Not that our Armed Forces would go along with such a power grab - but he may try.

That said, Merry Christmas. Here's hoping for a better one next year!

Probably fewer cops patrolling that area, too.

At least someone found it and called in reinforcements.

But, I don't see a plate in front. The picture of an identical RV in this thread shows the plate on the far driver side of the bumper. Is there a plate I'm not seeing?
If so, this eliminates as states of origin those states that require front & back plates, I'd think.
Unless they removed plates from the vehicle completely, but that seems a way to get pulled over by a cop.
Seems too planned to let it get screwed up by a routine traffic stop.

I didn't notice until you pointed it out.

Edit: I looked at the original photo again and it looks like there's something on the drivers side below the head light. I can't tell if it's a license plate or a fog light. Is there anyone with better eyesight than me that can see what that is? Does anyone have a way of magnifying that section of the photo?

But, at least here, you have to put those where the permanent plate would be.
Taping them to a window can get you a ticket.

I suppose renting, borrowing, or stealing an RV from the same state would attract even less attention.
Although stealing it seems like a bad part of the plot.
Even McVeigh & Nichols thought to rent a truck and those 2 guys were morons.

But, someone planning a bombing would likely not chance a cop just getting more interested than normal.
It would be a stupid reason to let the whole plot unravel.

I don't know if the gunshots were live or not. If they were and the perpetrator didn't have any intention of dying in the blast they could've escaped to a waiting vehicle close by or just blended in with the evacuees in the confusion.

So, he must have been in the back of the rig at the time officers showed up (obviously not in driver's seat), or fled before. If he fled before, then unfortunately, either an officer or bystander would be the remains.
