Swalwell tweet on the "sick" GOP's "WWE culture of Congress"

Tweet from Swalwell commenting on a tweet from CNN's Ryan Struyk about something Ben Sasse said about not having heard a single Congressional Republican claim the election results were fraudulent, WHEN they're talking in private.

This reflects what I call the WWE culture of Congress. In private, Republicans laugh at Trump and eye-roll the theatrics they have to perform to not alienate the base. They think they can slam democracy with a steel chair in the ring and then backstage we are all cool. It’s sick.

Struyk's tweet:

SASSE: "When we talk in private, I haven’t heard a single Congressional Republican allege that the election results were fraudulent – not one."

It is all cheap theatrics to get the attention of the ignorant base.
But in reality this ridiculous drama is damaging to the US on many levels.
