(115,830 posts)Of course the members of Congress have the legal right to do what they are planning to do, even though it's a load of performative horse manure. And he can share all the concerns he wants. But he still doesn't have the power to do anything but open the election certificates and read the vote counts, like the emcee at the Academy Awards. This statement is just waffly enough to make Fat Nixon think Pence is on his side and will actually do something.
