I mean, good that he won't join in, but there's a difference between "opposing" and merely "not supporting"....

It's the nonsense of contesting the electoral votes in the first place that's the problem.
But yeah, good if he also votes down the challenges.
It would certainly make a difference in optics if the senate doesn't uphold the challenges as well...
