4. It's for travelling on public transport while knowing she was infected last year.

The SNP immediately withdrew the whip (i.e. suspended her as part of their caucus) when this came to light. That's the most severe sanction they could take, as a party can't just sack an MP, they have to resign.

There have been repeated strong calls for her to resign from within and outside the party, which she's resisted.

Mixed feelings about this. She's been a decent MP who won back her seat in the last general election, but what she did was inexcusable. Although she was put in a very difficult situation by being stranded in London, far from her home in Scotland, she shouldn't have risked exposing others during her travel. She was also less than careful in other ways around that time.

She has no future as an MP, possibly in politics at all, so she should resign and get it over with.

Her being charged whereas Dominic Cummings kept his post, and indeed later received a pay rise, for not dissimilar behaviour has not gone unnoted.

3. I guess Margaret is just someone special since Dom Cummings and other Brit elites have frisked

about and never got arrested.
