(31,261 posts)We need to keep educated, progressive people that are leaving the state for jobs elsewhere. We also need to develop young Cuban politicians in South Florida and the Tampa area. Cuban registration is 45% Dem, 55% repug, but the 55% dramatically outperform the 45%, mostly because they develop and field younger politicians. Also, Florida Universities really lag badly at turning research into new company startups, even though we have good climate for 70% of the year. The universities need to start seeding more Hi-Tech, Biotech and Information Technology startups, that will keep educated young people in the state.

(1,102 posts)I'd think both seats will be won by us.
There is no place for republicans to catch-up.

(11,634 posts)There's still a bunch of outstanding votes in the Atlanta area.

(7,873 posts)Dave Wasserman, Nate Cohn, maybe Nate Silver and Harry Enten.
These folks -- especially the first two -- are paid professionals that make their living off looking at the details of the votes still left to be counted, turnout expectations vs. actual, etc. Start checking them out on Twitter and have faith in them -- once again, especially the first two -- because they usually know what they are talking about.
FYI, Wasserman has already called it for Warnock.
