I am kind of baffled! If all of Warnocks voters cast their ballots for Ossoff, both of our candidates would lead big!

(4,846 posts)Her favorable/unfavorable was bad from what I heard. Perdue is more known and is more like a "normal" republican. Loffler was attacked by the other republican quite badly in the jungle primary and supporters of that republican candidate might not have voted for her. So they voted for Perdue and Warnock.

(2,013 posts)Perdue has a lot of name recognition in GA (I think his cousin was Governor in the past) and he was actually ELECTED to his seat. He's seen slightly more as a "Bush" Republican than a Trump Republican.
Loeffler was appointed to the seat, isn't from GA, hasn't really accomplished anything in her time in the Senate, and is seen more as a Trump Republican.
These are several theories I've heard floated tonight (not my original thoughts).

(10,916 posts)Loeffler is not from Georgia, was appointed, talked like a robot in the debates and didn't do much to deserve reelection.
I bet some moderate Republicans chose Warnock over her.

(4,398 posts)Warnock is from Georgia, went against an appointed incumbent who is a woman, not from Georgia. Also the possibility that Ossoff being Jewish may have had an impact. And Perdue is the incumbent.

Tired of it always being The Democratic Candidates fault.
Lets change the meme and start setting the message instead of always reacting to the other side.
