it's and independant film that screens in different theaters. I found the fb page for it, 'What if cannabis cured cancer?'.
I'd post the link but I don't know how to do it without it showing my fb page.

I guess I made the 'assumption' that it was the history channel was because Peter Coyote has done a lot of work for them. Didn't mean to lead you astray, k?

Peace

I use cannabis daily in lieu of the "pharmaceutical-based paradigm." It has lowered my blood pressure dramatically, alleviated orthopedic pain, and improved my general sense of well-being.

I can actually go out and enjoy being with my horses again. I just feel better. And this summer for the first time in 5 years I plan on getting back in the saddle. It has really helped my leg and foot pain.

would you mind cross-posting this in the Drug Policy Forum? If you posted it with the title of the vid instead, that would help locate it for future reference.

it moves much slower and has much less traffic than the main forums - so it's not always good to post something there if you want people to see it.

however, I also created a post that's for anyone to post a link to a thread they find here that relates to the issue.

It's a great way to be able to access information here, rather than going somewhere else - tho the posts have links to other sources.

thanks!

I love Peter Coyote's voice.

Thanks for posting.

I'm in a position now where I can no longer legally use medicinal cannabis at risk of prison, and have great worry that my health is going to begin a decline unless and until the Federal law is changed. I can deal with the added stress and lower quality sleep I now suffer, I just hope my body can. It's infuriating that I have to worry about that.

I feel for you. I have a friend who's a 3 time breast cancer suvivor who would probably go insane without the herb. So far, it's still legal in Calif, but from what i've heard, the feds are working hard to change it. State's rights my you-know-what.

Look of some of the presentations by Professor Robert Melameade (Biochemistry Prof. at U of Colorado - Colorado Springs) and Professor Raphael Mechoulam (the man who discovered delta 9-THC; Biology Prof. at Hebrew University of Jerusalem).

Melameade has an interesting pov on the subject.

Mechoulam takes a far more conservative approach.

But will K&R anyway.

It would mean the world to me to have legal access to cannabis here in TN. I have PTSD, and related loss of appetite, anxiety and insomnia, which cannabis significantly reduce. Also have shoulder, hip and wrist pain from years of work which are mitigated well, without side effects, by cannabis.

However, I'm not willing to risk incarceration to have the medicine I need.

Some days I have to give in to a big cry over the ridiculous unfairness of being denied help, simply because I refuse to take pills. I can't wait to move to a sane state where my physician and I - not Big Pharma or legislators or law enforcement - can choose the medicine that works best for me. TN is working on it, but we have too many cretins here who make money off incarcerating non-violent people to give me much hope of mercy or relief.

Lately, the insomnia is just killing me. Thank goodness DU is open all night

Here's a review of the film that is pretty fair:

Wishing you luck in moving to a 'sane' state soon.
