Limbaugh compares rioters to the Founding Fathers, rebukes those calling for an end to the violence

Rush Limbaugh cited the American Revolution and its leaders to rebuke those “calling for the end of violence” following the violent attack on the United States Capitol.

...

Limbaugh also claimed that Republicans do not know how to protest or loot, despite the crowds of President Donald Trump supporters who protested and looted the Capitol on Wednesday.

...

“There’s a lot of people calling for the end of violence. There’s a lot of conservatives, social media, who say that any violence or aggression at all is unacceptable. Regardless of the circumstances,” he said. “I’m glad Sam Adams, Thomas Paine, the actual tea party guys, the men at Lexington and Concord didn’t feel that way.”

called for the violence to end. I have to say, I also doubted Trumpy's sincerity. The feeling I got was that Trumpy meant just about the opposite of what he said then.

Nevertheless, Trump did call for the rioters to go home peacefully.

BTW, by "his maker" I do not mean God. It's a good thing Rush has spent much of his wretched life in Florida, so at least he's used to heat.

Use of 25th amendment would be a really good thing, now. I have a hard time imagining that Trump will not take harmful actions during the coming 13 days.

They're not revolutionaries, patriots, heroes or martyrs.
These rioters aren't just a malleable mob of willing seditionists.

Worse, they've become domestic terrorists who should never have let themselves be conditioned to fear and hate fellow Americans, mobilize online, dress like party hooligans & militias who'd carry weapons and drive trucks through the Mall if they could. They drive armed as such in their home states.

They operate with public impunity like lynchers did, who made a day of violence, bringing snacks and families to cheer them on.

They know they can outnumber and outgun law enforcement. They tell them that in writing, give them forewarning and hope law enforcement will see them as patriots, the way they see themselves.

Next time they show up in DC, after more practice in terrorizing their state's citizens in public places, it won't be just one who gets shot. Because now, arrested or free, they've promoted themselves as courageous martyrs for their leader and causes. Back home they get mixed reviews but the soil they grow from is still back home, where they get enough validation -- from being ignored, avoided and/or hailed as heroes -- to make it a way of life.

Right wing wilding is not a life plan.
