Boiling the frog

The boiling frog story is generally offered as a metaphor cautioning people to be aware of even gradual change lest they suffer eventual undesirable consequences.

Coup :Typically, it is an illegal, unconstitutional seizure of power by a POLITICAL FACTION the military or dictator

Insurrection: an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government

RIOT: violent public disorder caused by a group or crowd of persons, as by a crowd protesting against another group, a government policy, in the streets.

Political protest: involves attempts by individuals or groups to address or stop perceived injustices within a political system.

A lot of very fine people just hanging out.

Now I'm awake to the world. I was asleep before. That's how we let it happen. When they slaughtered Congress, we didn't wake up. When they blamed terrorists and suspended the constitution, we didn't wake up then, either. Nothing changes instantaneously. In a gradually heating bathtub, you'd be boiled to death before you knew it.
