Scooplet: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is said to intend to give VP Pence until Sunday night to invoke 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office, per source — and will otherwise move forward with impeachment.

Source familiar with Pelosi’s thinking says should Pence not invoke the 25th Amendment by the conclusion of her CBS interview Sunday night, she’s prepared to green-light bringing articles early next week.

What will it mean in the long-term? Republican members of Congress will be weighing their choices more carefully this time. (They know he has unlawfully incited riots but many of their constituents still just don't give a damn.)

When the shitbag is out of office, real justice will be served by the courts. What will these imbeciles say when they see their hero frog marched into prison? How will he then be able to run for another term?

It just seems that his immediate remove from office now is of upmost importance. We just don't know what he will try to do.

"Disqualification for running for national office again" - yes, this is of the upmost importance.

But how can he run for office if he's imprisoned via sentencing in NYS? Either that or he'll escape the country. I truly don't think he will be able to run again, much less be elected. Besides, the public is fickle & has a short memory.

I do think he should be removed asap. He's a very dangerous person with the power he currently has.
