Seems like their concerns and arguments have been vindicated. They warned us. They said the Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer, and the 3%ers were all Fascists and should be opposed, with force if necessary, every time they show their faces.

And Fascists they are.

Instead, they became Trumpism's useful villains, accused by paranoid, violent yahoos across America of planning schoolbus invasions of small towns most Antifa escaped as soon as they could. 41 towns full of gullible marks to con.

Not to mention "burning down everything last summer", as my Dad put it.

They stayed away from DC on 1/6. Why act when your enemy is busy hurting himself?

7. Antifa isn't a real organization.

There are people who are anti-fascist, which is the default, common sense position to take.

But I honestly don’t really see much of a presence for any real Antifa organized group.

12. Depends on what "Real" is. They are loosely organized, deliberately.

More real are the Peace and Justice Collectives that reach out to the homeless across the PNW; many of those kids are Anarchists and dress in the black we've all come to know and love.

But someone fought with the PBs when they came into PDX to intimidate citizens. Michael Reinoehl claimed he was Antifa, and I believe him.

Antifa flags exist; I've seen them multiple times. Someone (usually a young man) was waving them.

Antifa's online sites exist; their critique of Fascists and injustice is too consistent to be a sock puppet hoping to discredit them.

Officers were hit with rocks, bottles and eggs, police said, and the crowd directed pepper spray at them.

KSWB-TV tweeted video of counter demonstrators, most of them dressed in black and waving an antifa flag, throwing a folding chair and spraying a chemical irritant at a smaller group of people participating in the march on the Pacific Beach boardwalk.

The station said in other instances, members of both groups shoved and threw objects at one another.
