(19,956 posts)they have ALL these bills ready to go and can get them through. Nothing must be allowed get in the way of Biden's first 100 days. It could be truly transformative.

(128,925 posts)because we know there were at least 400 bills that were BLOCKED by Turtle last year and DUers were demanding to know "why Democrats weren't doing anything".
The Democratic House held the hearings, drafted the bill language, did the markups with revisions, debated the final content, passed it out of Committee and sent it onto the House floor, where it was debated by the full House, and finished up with a vote for passage. Then each bill would officially be sent over to the Senate where Turtle placed it in the DOA file.

(19,956 posts)these around and send them back through the House and onwards.
My hope is that Biden could make this the greatest 100 days in US Congressional history, and the main reason why I think the Pelosi/Clyburne opinion that the Senate Trial of Trump be backended after these 100 days. At that point the Covid fight will look radically different, small businesses and working/middle class unemployed will be saved. It could be like a slingshot.

(3,056 posts)Got royally pissed at Leslie Stahl. I guess she decided Chuck Todd wasn't being heard enough in his time slot, and kept coming at Nancy with the "both sides do it" bullshit. She claimed the Democrats were just as much to blame for holding up the relief bill for months. This, of course, on the desecrated ground Trump's minions had just tried to destroy. Madame Speaker, of course, handed her her ass.
When are they going to learn not to shoot at the Queen? Actually, I kind of hope they keep trying. It's really fun watching her shut them up.

(58,648 posts)but that should actually be pretty easy.
Seems all they need to do is re-number them and re-print them in most cases.
