From CNN tech reporter Brian Fung, a 5-tweet thread starting here. YouTube didn't tell Fung which video was deleted. They did say the suspension is for a minimum, not a maximum, of a week.

Editing to add that I've found more info on the videos -- there were two -- that YouTube deleted. They were from OAN and were two clips about what Trump said today about Big Tech and about how he wasn't worried about the 25th Amendment.
What Trump himself said on those subjects hadn't seemed especially incendiary. But I don't know if the clips from OAN had made it seem worse. And it's possible the problem had a lot to do with comments being posted on that video about Big Tech especially, since the YouTubeInsider account on Twitter refers to "safety concerns found in the comments section."

(59,753 posts)searches and haven't been able to find anything on it, so maybe YouTube deleted it before very many people saw it.
I'm glad they deleted it since they believed it was inciting violence. OTOH, it's more proof that he should be impeached, so I hope it will at least be shown to Pelosi.

(8,914 posts)I've seen hair-raising (and pathetic) exchanges under even innocuous music videos etc.
I can see how the comment sections could be used to communicate by desperate plotters driven off other platforms.
