(11,572 posts)I've been saying all along that it won't take anywhere near as much fence-mending to turn foreign relations around as some have been saying. The example I've used is the intl mess Bush left, and how fast the free world cozied up to BHO.
I knew they'd welcome JRB with open arms.

The Trump-flushing was complete relatively early in the day.
The inauguration ceremony ending around 3 would correspond to about 9-10 pm in central Europe.
Any of the "we're going some business right now" stuff was not as photogenic and kinda late for deadline
The "Celebrate the New start" stuff (concert, fireworks) was wee hours of the morning in central Europe.
