For four nauseating years, I avoided placing the word "President" in front of "Trump".

I may have slipped once or twice---I don't think so---but, unless it was required in a quote, I refused to honor him with that title.

I referred to him as the White House squatter, the Oval Office occupant and a few more "colorful" names, but I just could not even think of calling him---you know---without cringing.

But, NOW, thank all that is good and holy, we again have a PRESIDENT!

"President Biden". "President Joseph R. Biden". "Joseph Robinette Biden, President of the United States of America!"

Damn!

I couldn't refer to it as president, and avoiding mentioning it by name.
Earlier today, I heard Brianna Keillar say "President Biden". It made me smile!

Nor will I ever refer to him as "the former president".

I think I avoided calling Donald Trump President Trump through his entire tenure. It was Donnie, Individual One, Orange Julius, the Donald, or Trump, but not PresidentTrump

I don’t feel ashamed of it either..
