can they also revoke his pension? He's going to be broke real soon and need it.

(18,486 posts)Every former president is entitled to the pension UNLESS they were impeached, convicted and removed from office.
Trump can no longer be removed, so the exception can't apply to him and, therefore, he's entitled to the pension.
Obviously, it never occurred to the drafters that a president would be impeached at the end of his term but not removed until after he left office. They may fix that with an amendment, but it's probably not a top priority right now.

(32,009 posts)I have been reading that post for 5 years now or that he was broke already. So far no one has provided any evidence of it. He did not take a salary so I doubt he needs the pension.
