all I can say is, I am glad he is on our side. He was smartfully cautious with his words, but the body english told me he's got the goods on Cruz and Hawley.me

(7,282 posts)I really have a long standing admiration and respect for Senator Whitehouse. I have always thought his last name was curious.

(7,282 posts)when I was kid in north carolina, there was this preacher named Whitehead. But as I had to attend Sunday sermons, I'd manage to sit in the way back pew because when he'd start belting out the hell's fire and brimstone, his face would get so red, veins popping out of his forehead, and his animated behavior was so freaking hysterical to me, I could not contain my laughter if my life depended on it. I was just a small kid, but it was then I had this on going curiosity regarding last names, especially the odd ones...
my spelling is totally hit and miss these days. it's what happens when you live to be 100 years old.

Mark our words, amirite?

(7,282 posts)I do have a question wrt to the ethics committee conducting an evidence gathering investigation, but I didn't hear him say what the particular process involved apart from their poking and discussing, but what about involving the FBI? Is that part of the investigation? Chris Hayes didn't ask, and he didn't mention. The question lingers and confusion remains in my mind.

(7,282 posts)the question wasn't is it going to be investigated, the question in my mind is:
Are the investigators solely the members of the ethics committee?
OR does the investigation also involve the FBI/Justice dept together, separately by referral from the committee, or simultaneously if at all?

(63,868 posts)so proud that he's my Senator. He's so tuned in on all the corruptness in the past regime. When I saw him sort of smile he knows what's going on.
