The career federal civil service shouldn't be politicized.

I think the $15/hr min wage is for federal contracts and contractors, not the career civil servants. Right now, on the GS pay schedule, GS-1 through GS-4/step 6 all make less than $15/hr. You could possibly see more services like cleaning, food, etc being brought back in house and done by gov't employees rather than contractors.
