Well, what happened to the last stand take-over attempt?

I was fully expecting some sort of attempt to interfere with the inauguration that never came. I realize 25K Guardsmen would have presented a good reason for the Proud Boys to reconsider any actions but best I can tell, there was nothing taking place.

Based on skimpy reports of radical rightest reactions to nothing happening, some were disappointed...they were apparently expecting some insurrection.

The others were probably scared off by those arrests, or by the national guard presence that should have been there on January 6.

4. Some bullies talk big, but run away when they get punched in the mouth...

MAGAts thought they could break the law and get away with it. The shock of being held accountable may have derailed their plans in the short-term. But I don't think we've seen the last of their violent behavior - I suspect they will regroup and wind each other up again.
