(16,616 posts)that is the "Magic Day" that Trump takes office and, I guess, Biden and all the Democrats are arrested, or executed, or whatever.

(54,084 posts)I'm not a fan of gimmick dates, May the Fourth being the most egregious of puns. "March forth" is bad too, but it can also be written as 4/3/21 and makes perfect sense, since from a historical point of view, if you attack American you're already on the British side. Redcoats, Red Hats, whatever.

(15,729 posts)I noticed that during the spring break that the people that stayed outside did not have as many problems as those that hung out inside the bars all the time. At least that is the theory.
I can not wait until Thursday to get my first covid shot.

(16,616 posts)The Acting Secretary of Homeland Security has issued a National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin due to a heightened threat environment across the United States, which DHS believes will persist in the weeks following the successful Presidential Inauguration. Information suggests that some ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority and the presidential transition, as well as other perceived grievances fueled by false narratives, could continue to mobilize to incite or commit violence.
