Not to brag - because I do it partly to keep my meals un-tampered with (also I have a side business where tips are not necessary but appreciated) - but I always overtip after reading some stories at the still-around-but-un-updated-for-a-long-time website, "The Stained Apron."

It is bad enough to stiff a server on a tip. But this person went the extra mile to mock the server. The ass will probably learn soon enough that we reap what we sow.

Sounds like service was a little slow for this guy's liking. Asshole comment, nonethless.

I think the DUers saying he or she is not in the 1% are probably correct.

which this guy most likely is.

i bet he is the first to cry about how unfair things are when he himself will get into hard times .

but this guy seems like the type that would blame people on welfare , homeless etc before the policies which benefit the 1 percent.

7. "My time is worth more than yours" -- I saw a similar sort of thing recently at a tire shop
Tue Jan 10, 2012, 09:03 PM
Jan 2012

A guy in his huge, not-so-new Lexus GX 470 SUV pulled in and started haggling with the employee at the counter over the price of some tires. Essentially the guy wanted them to sell him some Y-Model tires at the price that Sam's Club sells X-Model tires. The tire shop refuses to do any sort of price matching, explaining that X is not Y. They went round and round for a few minutes, with the guy unable to get it through his head that X does not equal Y. At the end he exclaims "my time is money" and storms out of the place in a huff, as if the tire place was supposed to do anything to earn his sale. If his time is so valuable, I don't know why he didn't just buy the tires he first found at Sam's Club anyway.

Mr big-lunch 29.68 guy probably should've just gone to a salad/food bar at the supermarket if his time is so valuable to him.
