Pres Biden is one wily old fox! He is the master of the well played plan

I have been listening to the various talking heads, and even they seem to get a clue on this one. Joe Biden is in the commanders seat. He will play the unity card for the Covid 19 bill to let republican's come on board.. if they don't he has all the cards. He will get the bill passed with just the Democrats .. The Democrats and a couple of wily republicans (not all of them are afraid of a Trump fit), then will get all the credit for the recovery the Covid 19 bill will spur.

So far, I am extremely pleased with the Biden/Harris administration.

the government has gone completely off the rails by an erratic President over the night. It is doubly sweet to have a President who knows how to govern... I am so pleased with this roll out.

The past four years have been like the most effed-up episode of the Twilight Zone ever and suddenly it feels like things are somewhat back to normal (although not entirely, I realize we still have a few loose cannons out there).

However, just not having to deal with the Trump madness all day, every day, is such a welcome relief. Joe is so calming and rational. It is such a breath of fresh air.

I watched him as he fought off wave after wave of Republican smears, but always held his ground on the things that really matter to people. I never in my wildest dreams thought we would be lucky enough to have him as president, because the right was fully intent on destroying his chances for the top spot.

There’s a reason why they put so much energy into degrading him. They knew what kind of president he could be. The kind that’s not afraid to do good things for all the people.

Nobody knows more about how to get things done in Washington than Joe Biden. Some may know as much, but not more. I really do think he is the man for the moment.

I do share your impressions about Harris, and the teams assembled. Top notch, the lot of them.

was our best choice as a nominee, by far. The guy is smart and knows how politics work. He also comes into the office of the Presidency with legislative experience that is second to only LBJ. Being an African American, I am proud of the African Americans in South Carolina that took the point when it looked like Joe would not make it.

Was where it all started! Jim Clyburn stood up for Joe and gave him sound advice which Joe took.

1) Joe didn’t have the money - Clyburn called him out and told him to raise money (boy did he!)
2) Joe is not a populist- he puts other people first! Jim and his wife know Joe.
3) Joe accurately framed the race for the soul of America which I know Rep. Clyburn agrees.

Anyone think we would still have a democracy if things went the other way?

Thank goodness for first note from South Carolina and Georgia for the big rock and roll finish!

As far as I am concerned South Carolina should replace Iowa in the primary calendar. SC picked history’s largest presidential vote winner!

P.s. if this plague ever ends I plan to attend the fish fry in 2024!

Everyone in that state should be proud of him. When I have heard him talk, it is obvious when asked about his state that he is a big booster of it, work to change the bad, but don’t throw out the good.

and experience that recruited and developed more high level people. I think Joe is still under-rated. Look at the speed with which his administration is moving, and the speed of his language and thoughts as he announces new EO's and policy. No surprises, every nuance known and tied off. Remarkable.

Squelching the so-called "Washington Outsider" romanticism. Not that the last guy didn't do that already with his woefully incompetent train wreck of an administration. He may not be the "young cool guy" or the social medial sensation, but he is more than qualified to get the job done and imbues presidential honor and dignity once again.

Biden, Schumer, and Pelosi will make their adversaries rue the day they sold their souls to a con-man grifter.
