All it takes is a vote to end debate and move to a vote.

Besides, if we control the floor we can control the witnesses in the same way mcconnel did.

The evidence is so damning, so obvious, that a drawn-out trial will make Trump's criminality more difficult to bury. That's why the (reported) sentiment from Biden, that the trial be short, is not really desirable. It's as if Biden fails to understand how powerful Trump's fascist movement really is. Trump must be definitively buried in a political sense. He is the head of a domestic terrorist force. We can't just move on. We have to face the threat directly and forcefully. Biden should know better than to put on a show trial and move on. This is serious.
