4. I was so wrong about Lady G in the past. I thought she was doing "a Madonna" act for her career.

She is kind, talented, complex and loving.

You don't comeback from Alzheimer's but It is nice to know that Tony has a friend in Lady Gaga.

8. I was at Bransted Airport in Hartford, traveling with my boss on a business trip (mid-80s).

We were in the lounge waiting for our flight, when my boss suddenly got up and went to a table that was occupied by a person that I didn't know. He spent a few minutes talking with this guy and when he returned to our table, he told me that it was Tony Bennett. He was traveling alone and just seemed to be low key about his celebrity status....

Saw him at the Hollywood Bowl a couple years back. What a wonderful evening. I believe he was 93 at the time and he put on a long show. So glad we saw him, a national/international treasure!!!

should watch a recording of one of their concerts from that tour.

It was spellbinding, the chemistry between them onstage was electric, and he was obviously as taken with her as the audience was.
