(9,126 posts)If the people who gave the order like warm weather and big city lights, transfer them to some rural clime with sub-zero winter temperatures.
I understand that northern North Dakota is anything but tropical right now. Let them busy themselves coping with snow drifts and glaring at Canadians straying too close to the dividing-line.

(17,009 posts)Transfer top level leadership at every location to new offices.... in the absolute middle of nowhere. Slow walk getting everything needed to have an actual functioning office and I mean everything from internet service to toilet paper. The military is gifted at quarantining problem people Im sure there are some vets who would be happy to help handle the situation.

It'll take a few months (at least) to excise this cancer from our government. Give Joe a scalpel and let's get it on.

(86,005 posts)..that's still at the discretion of the agency.
The court doesn't have some separate means deport to anyone, no budget for that, no real authority or ability to actually put anyone on a plane. That responsibility lies with the government agency, which ultimately answers to the president.
The Director of ICE is appointed at the sub-cabinet level by the President of the United States, confirmed by the U.S. Senate, and reports directly to the Secretary of Homeland Security.

An example:

(86,005 posts)...it's one thing to halt a deportation, or stop people from entering the U.S., it's quite another to order an agency of the president to put someone on a plane in contradiction to the wishes of the WH.
Think about the constitutional implications, not to mention the logistics.
