Yes, I am being nitpicky, but a thing bothering me

With the Democratic House impeachment manager is his constant calling Trump president....trump is watching this and he is a narcissist, if he was being called former president this would really get under his skin....plus calling him president is kind of honoring him

It establishes his subjectivity to the process. He was President when he committed these crimes and was impeached while President.

Plus, repeatedly calling him "former President" might subtly reinforce the (false) idea that he can't be tried since he's no longer in office.
