Huntsman/Paul and OBAMA will be reelected.

I am sticking to my prediction, with a slight addition. I still stand by my previous thread that Huntsman will be the nominee but I think it's a very real possibility is that Paul will be the VP.

They are on the same page in regard to the industrial complex and the withdrawal of Afghanistan. I wonder if when they get to the convention, Paul moves his delegates to Huntsman? That could very possible put Huntsman over the top if he can stay in the top tier.

2. No way that will happen. Here's why:

Why Huntsman can’t win the republican primaries:
1. He supported civil unions as Governor of Utah
2. He said he would not use federal powers to block a law legalizing same-sex marriage.
3. He threatened to veto a bill repealing in-state college tuition for illegal immigrants.
4. He signed a bill giving illegal aliens access to “driving-privilege cards”.
5. He supports granting more H-1B visas to foreigners
6. He has not taken an anti-immigrant or anti-Hispanic stance.
7. He signed the Western Climate Initiative, by which Utah joined with other governments in agreeing to pursue targets for reduced production of greenhouse gases.
8. He appeared in an advertisement sponsored by Environmental Defense, in which he said, “Now it’s time for Congress to act by capping greenhouse-gas pollution"
9. He worked in the Obama administration as an ambassador to China
10. He said he believes in science
11. He said he believes in evolution.
12. He has said that President Obama is an American citizen.
13. He is too rational, too normal, too genteel for most of today’s conservatives.

He'd certainly be better than that creep Hatch, or the other teabagger they just installed.

He could never win it on his own, he could win if he and Ron Paul's cumulative delegates are more than Romney's and the delegates he is bound to get from the other candidates.

This is an internal war inside the Republican party!

4. Nonsense. Hunstman sank everything in New Hampshire. And he came in third.

His speech said he was still going on, but it was a rather unfocussed, indulgent speech, focussed on the room rather than the TV cameras. Hunstman may keep going for a LITTLE while, but he's pretty much a zombie candidate at this point. His only chance was to win New Hampshire.

But maybe you can still put money on the Lions winning the Super Bowl too.

6. Nope. Neither Paul nor his supporters would ever accept a VP nomination.

He's gotta be on the top of the ticket or else.

But I'm tempted

Hunstman's got about as much of a chance to be the Republican nominee as Buddy Roemer. And Paul has about as much chance to be the running mate as does Snooki.

16. Huntsman already ruled that out.

Although somewhat more moderate than the other Republicans, Huntsman is still essentially a status quo, corporate, military industrial complex candidate. There is no way that Ron Paul would consent to run with him, or that he would consent to run with Ron Paul.

In fact, Huntsman said as much on one of the Sunday shows this weekend. Asked if he would give his support to whichever of the Republican candidates won the nomination, he replied that he could support all of them except Paul, because of Paul's stance on the wars.

17. What state is Huntsman going to win?

I don't see any viable path to the nomination for Huntsman. It looks like he is just there to try and leach some moderate votes away from Mitt so that a conservative might be able to win some states.
