For 15-20. The time to care for your family and employees was prior to planning and helping to lead an armed insurrection where people died including a cop.

Too fucking bad for your family and your employees, they should start getting used to you being away for a long time.

This guy is a hard ass. Marine infantry and at least one pro boxing match (he won). Forget the Oathkeepers they are charging, THIS is one of them you need to worry about. He busted through the window with what appears to have been a police shield meaning he took it from a cop.

He’s big shakes in the online Proud Boy community from what I’ve read.

His lawyer states that someone else is already turning and naming names. He knows this is is his best- quickly disappearing chance to save SOME time or punishment.

Whether Pezzola actually goes to trial or not, the federal prosecutors need to make an example of this guy. If he gets a plea deal, it had better for a good reason. Like giving up somebody really high up.

He needs to get a conviction, and maybe a shorter sentence or something.

against one U.S. Senator or higher, and one person of lessor rank, e.g., the named person's COS.

The deal was rejected; he ended in prison.

The federal prosecutors hunt big criminals. If they can get the president or a senator and one of more minions, they don't care if the informant deserves prison. And I feel the same. If they can get Trump, or Hawley, or Cruz -- that's a big win.

" Pezzola is the sole source of financial support for the family which consists of his wife and two children. His inability to support the family while incarcerated has placed them all in desperate financial straits."
"Zucker previously asked a judge to release Pezzola to the custody of his wife, who is a social worker."
Some social worker...

personalities have been held accountable for instigating this attack. And, their leader-in-chief was acquitted and is basking in the Florida sunshine.

This guy is about to lose his company and perhaps even his family in the long term, all for being brainwashed into a senseless cult. Dozens of others are facing similar consequences, yet we hear no outcry from the right for Republican pols to resign or for hard RW media to shutter their operations.

Life on the right's upper crust (maybe I should say bottomless pit) goes on unimpeded while their minions lose everything.

One of the most disgusting aspects of this entire shitshow is that the rally and riot was all for naught from the beginning. There was absolutely nothing they could have done to change our election's outcome.

From various sources found via web search:

But in a new filing, Pezzola’s lawyer, Jonathan Zucker, says his client’s participation in the Capitol riot was an “aberration in an otherwise exemplary life.” He says Pezzola served in the military and has supported his family and a number of employees, who are now out of work due to his incarceration, with his small business.

The Rochester native had previously been identified by Vice News as a member of the group and had been spotted in their attire at a rally held in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 12.

According to Vice News’ reporting, Pezzola is a former Marine who went to The Aquinas Institute of Rochester, a private high school.

On Jan. 9, FBI agents were able to find Pezzola’s publicly available Telegram account. Telegram is an encrypted messaging an calling app, according to the complaint.

His account username was @KINGbehavior with a display name of Spazzo 2nd and his bio read “Marine vet / boxer / patriot / Proud Boy 2nd,” the complaint said.

Found this thorough summary on him here: https://conandaily.com/2021/02/10/dominic-pezzola-biography-13-things-about-proud-boys-member-from-rochester-new-york/

Dominic Pezzola biography: 13 things about Proud Boys member from Rochester, New York
By Marky O'Brien on February 10, 2021

Dominic Pezzola is a white man from New York, United States also known as Spaz and Spazzo. He is a member of the Proud Boys, a far-right, neo-fascist and male-only white nationalist political organization.

Pezzola was a talented boxer. Here are 13 more things about him:

He lives in Rochester, New York. (a)

When he was a senior at The Aquinas Institute of Rochester, a private Catholic school in Rochester, Mohammad Ali visited the school and he met the legendary boxer. He was a member of the boxing team and the football team when he attended the school. He graduated in 1995. (a) (b)

In the late 1990s, he alternated political affiliations between Democrat and Independent. He has not voted in New York since 2001. (b)

In 1998, he completed the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Training at Parris Island, South Carolina, USA. From 1998 to 2005, he served in the Marines. He reached the rank of corporal as an infantry assaultman. He neither deployed nor received any personal medals. (b)

In 2012, he filed for foreclosure. (a)

In 2013, he opened D Pezzola Flooring, a business based in Rochester. (a)

On December 12, 2020, he attended a Make America Great Again (MAGA) rally in Washington, D.C, USA. (c)

Wearing a grey coat and an earpiece tucked behind his long hair, he was caught on camera breaking the window of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. at around 2:39 p.m. on January 6, 2021. That day, Donald Trump supporters breached the building while a joint session of Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Joe Biden‘s victory in the 2020 presidential election. During the riot, he was seen smoking a cigar and was photographed standing beside Jake Angeli and behind Doug Jensen while Aaron Mostofsky was among the rioters behind them. (c) (d)

Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Melissa Ammons filed a criminal complaint against him, which was assigned to U.S. Magistrate Judge Zia M. Faruqui on January 13, 2021. That day, he made an initial appearance via Zoom in U.S. District Court before U.S. Magistrate Judge Marian W. Payson. (c) (e)

On the morning of January 15, 2021, FBI agents arrested him. He was charged with the destruction of government property, being on restricted buildings or grounds and obstruction of an official proceeding. He was booked into the Livingston County Jail in Geneseo, New York. He was 43 years old when he was arrested. (a) (d) (e)

On January 29, 2021, he and his fellow Proud Boys member and U.S. Capitol rioter William Pepe were indicted in federal court in Washington, D.C. They were accused of engaging in a conspiracy to obstruct, influence, impede and interfere with law enforcement officers engaged in their official duties in protecting the U.S. Capitol and its grounds on January 6, 2021. (f)

Represented by Jonathan Zucker, he was arraigned on 11 charges and he pleaded not guilty on February 9, 2021. (g)

On February 10, 2021, he was ordered to be detained without bail pending his trial. If released, he would potentially engage in future activities against the U.S. Capitol or other buildings, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robin Meriweather ruled. (g)

I think I did read he'd only been with the Proud Boys for a few months but still seems like a Grade A asshole who should have known better given ex-Marine Corps service.

It's Joe Biggs and Ethan Nordean that I think were the ring leaders and need to rot in prison until they die. I don't think it would be the end of the world if Pezzola gets 5-10 in exchange for ratting out the organisers particularly if it links back to Roger Stone and the Trump Campaign.
