1. I found Dole's support of Trump a little odd.

Yeah, he's a conservative, but Trump seems like someone an establishment Republican would abhor, not support. He called Trump's 2020 SOTA one of the best he'd ever seen.

4. I suggest re-watching this clip, but look at Biden the entire time.

It pans out at about 13 seconds and his humility is evident. It's not like Trump, who demanded that people say nice things about him. With Biden, he is clearly both uncomfortable and touched.
