The constant gaslighting of the past 4 yrs and now the neverending insurrectionist thinking. The blatant lies and just absurdity of so many things happening. It gets overwhelming.

For me, being tired makes me feel a bit weak. But I got 7 hours last night, a lot for me,
and I'm energized today. I'm ornery too.

COVID-deniers and anti-maskers who put others at risk--who die disproportionately from COVID. It is all too often those who tried to protect themselves and others and whose lives were dedicated to service, whether their families or their community.

As such, it is very hard to keep perspective or to not give in to despair. We just keep trying. That's all we can do.

The media wants to pretend that republicans and trump didn't come within an inch of blowing up democracy and I am still not sure they haven't succeeded.
