(3,013 posts)I REALLY hope the DNC and state Dem committees are looking hard at where we are missing on policy, messaging, etc. If we don't beat the usual pattern in the mid-terms, we will be scrooged.

(4,608 posts)The only reason it survived was because of the limitations imposed by the reconciliation process.
The amount of damage Trump and the GOP would have done during those first two years would have been cataclysmic, as opposed to merely catastrophic.
Breaking things is a lot easier than building them, which puts Democrats at a structural disadvantage. Just food for thought.
