I don't choose to live in a bubble like many on the right do. I don't like what the other side does or says, but I still need to know.

That said, I really don't like posts that seem to demand that other members don't post certain stories. It is getting really old already and there are more congenial ways to post one's opinion. Yes, this is Democratic Underground, but that doesn't mean we don't mention republicans. If people don't like reading about republicans, I understand and respect that, but they don't need to read those posts.

20. :) I've always looked forward to selections from CPAC's annual circus

("the bar scene from Star Wars" as even Republicans describe it). Appalling and scary as TPAC has become, it's actually important to watch it for that reason, but still entertaining also.
