Honestly, until this week, I don't know if I've heard the word "parliamentarian" spoken aloud twice in the past 20 years.
Unless you count Serenity, but I guess he was just "The Operative."

It has happened, though.
Someone here posted that the last time a parliamentarian got in the republicans' way, they got fired.

As has been said, the issue is not the parliamentarian. The issue is the Senate Rules.
