is defending removal of amounts that sought to interfere with the 2020 elections.

We don't know if it's his own choice or was at least initially forced by compromise and blackmail.

Not to rule out the possibility that he's an actual Russian agent, though that seems far less likely. Numerically at least. Assets are a dime a dozen, though his following on the left means he's worth more than that to them of course.

Anyone who identifies as "progressive, Democrat, or far-left" who promotes Greenwald has self-identified their true motives, IMO.

On a related issue, for years I was a true fan of THE NATION and adored Katrina Vanden Heuvel. But her husband became an obsessive Putin-defender, appearing in the magazine's pages to push obvious Putin propaganda, and soon she started pushing it as well. So, it is unlikely I will EVER trust that publication again. I don't know what is behind that, but it really doesn't matter.
