No. He would be the license plate frame. It’s the only relic from the past still in use on current modern cars. You can take a plate from 100 years ago and install it in a modern car’s license plate frame and it will still fit. Manchin is just like that, a relic from our party’s past

The country wants a robust stimulus. The country wants $15/hr. The country wants the filibuster gone. In most of these cases it's a bipartisan demand.

Manchin is roadblock #2. The Republicans are the bigger roadblock, but if Manchin supported the popular will, we could get around the Republicans.

I'm fully aware that I'm corrupting the metaphor at this point
