I've not kept close tabs on this story.

If so, that was grave mistake. He should've stuck to his guns. The argument originally given was a sound one ... where, exactly, where people in nursing homes supposed to GO if they tested positive for Covid? If they weren't sick enough to need medical care, the hospitals wouldn't have taken them, and Medicare wouldn't have paid.

For Gods sake, these people LIVE in these nursing homes. Said homes should be capable of CARING for their resident patients.

Were they to be put out on the street?

Cuomo should've stayed true to his original argument/principles and let the chips fall were they may, not tried to cover up the impact (if that's what happened).

Ultimately, the HOMES should've been held responsible, because they're supposed to be able to take care of the people who live there. It's part of their licensing.
