Gotta ask this here (the senate reading of the package)

In the future can a rule be passed that WHOEVER asks for this again, that THAT SAME person be forced to sit and listen to the ENTIRE READING? ( i'm thinking that if it was so, then maybe they would think twice before calling for it)

Future rule: senators asking for reading of a bill have to read it out loud themselves. Irish_Dem Mar 2021 #1

them don't even go home to their districts that often. I bet its as little as they possibly they can get by with.

Its like one big country club where they are treated like lords of the manner. Johnson's arrogance is quite obvious as is true with so many of them but especially the Republican Senators.

They reek of privilege and superiority.

Thinking more about this, i like what you say about being like one big country club for them. Maybe the rule should be that if the QRTHUGS call for reading the entire bill out loud, then like YOU say the entire country club needs to STAY UNTIL the bill is read in it's entirety?
