My guess is MSNBC has not given her a new contract. Not sure how much or if she gets paid to appear.

(31,387 posts)Ari made it a point to say, "looking to see you back in the future". Seemed like a re-introduction to Joan.
I have to say, she looks entirely different today than the last time I saw her. Seems like she's embraced her roots!

(32,952 posts)Also long hair. I have not had a hair cut since last February - 13th months. Fortunately my style was medium length so it could just grow and grow until I put it in a pony tail (first time since the 4th grade) or wear it up.

(31,387 posts)Guy here Malaise....my hair has been going gray since I was 35. My battle is with retention.
But I have 2 sisters that have decided to let their hair go "natural". Partly because of Covid, partly because of the social limitations....they decided that it was OK to let their senior freak flag fly.

(292,357 posts)Mine started turning gray in my late 20s. Both mom and my favorite aunt had gray hair early and as a young girl I remember looking at myself in the mirror with shampoo all over my hair to see how I'd look. Mine is more silver than gray and it was an easy choice - dye it forever and waste money or enjoy it. I chose the latter.
It's fall down funny when I get together with siblings and they tell me how lovely it looks when we all know that hiding under their roots is the same gray hair

(292,357 posts)I was walking to the football park in my community decades ago and the mother of one of our players was also heading to the match. As we walked together she suggested that I dye my hair so i'd look younger. My response was instant - you don't look younger I said - I was 100% fitter than this woman.. She never spoke to or with me again. I did laugh. It is a humorous topic

(31,387 posts)But hair coloring has been around since the 30's (I think). My mom had the blackest hair until, it went silver black sometime in the 70's. It was gorgeous.
