She comes well prepared, recognizes Fox lies posed as questions for what they are, and destroys the ones posing those questions. She does this while remaining matter-of-fact and polite, and pretending to take them seriously. The shills from the far right either don’t realize that she is calling them idiots with words that seem to be answers, or they can’t figure out how she always manages to end up catching them in the traps they thought they were setting for her.

Her predecessor, McInsany, had only lies and propaganda to offer, which can get you through if you have street smarts, but they fooled no one. Psaki does her homework AND has street smarts, which is a far more effective combination, especially if she has more hard facts to rely on than the propagandists from the extremist right trying to include lies in their questions. When Fox starts out with their usual “many people are saying,” she asks, “who, specifically, says that?” It turns out no one is saying it, other than the Fox shills, themselves.
