Good vax experience, 1 Moderna, 1 Pfizer

Wife: Got Moderna. 1st shot, sore arm. 2nd shot, after 8 hours, spiked 101.7 fever with mild chills; one dose Ibuprofen killed the fever within an hour. Day after, she was low-energy; spent the day reading. Not ideal, but no big deal.

Me: Got Pfizer. 1st shot, sore arm. 2nd shot yesterday. Sore arm today, but I've cleared 24 hours and that's the only thing I can report.

Just adding two anecdotes to the collection.

I find it helpful since I have not yet had my vaccine and I'm pretty nervous after reading about a lot of nasty side effects others on here have experienced.

4. Don't know if will make you feel better, but husband had it last week with no problems.

I got my first 10 hours ago, so far so good. Both were Moderna.

6. I helped 12 friends/family get appointments.

12 first shots most reported only a sore area for a day. One, elderly one had chills for a day. All except one had Moderna and Pfizer with one J&J. 2 have had second shots with no issue, including the one who experienced chills after the first shot.

5. Congrats! Immunity & peace of mind were the only

side effects that counted for me. Fever, soreness, whatever - all well worth it. I'm grateful, and ready to pay it forward.
